As the Design Research Assistant for this case study, I worked alongside Wilson School of Design’s Fashion Program Chair, Jessica Bayntun, and fellow researcher Heidi Wilson to examine how soft tissue redistributes in tight-fitting garments. Developed three bra prototypes and revised shorts patterns for accurate real-life fit. The results were compared with CLO3D avatars to assess limitations in soft tissue simulation and avatar creation. Future work will expand to Browzwear to compare and contrast digital fit.
